NOTES
The Roman poet Ovid wrote the original Metamorphoses
around 8 A.D. A sprawling collection of tales about gods of the
Roman Pantheon, and "bodies, which have been transformed
into shapes of a different kind", it is full of mythical
digressions and stories within stories.
"To pool or not to pool?" was the big question, and once that was answered,
we all felt the thrill of being involved.
The prodigiously talented students who have been
part of every creative step should be truly proud of the work.
On our first day of work we discussed how the imagination of
thre audience can make illusion become reality and how a theatre
is not only a literal space, but also a place where we dream
together.
