DECEPTION BAY - A unique landscape that impresses with its apparent almost total 'black & white' appearance, save for a few items of muted colour. This is the site of a now disused whaling station. Buildings and artifacts spread over the site are reminders of the industry that once flourished here, to the detriment of the whale population. Click any thumbnail for an enlarged view.
