Alternative Methods

Natural rock outcrops are a wonderful agent for assisting sand stabilization. They are aesthetically pleasing, gentle in their shoreline influence regarding erosion and are cheap! However, they don't always occur where we want them. That is when the possibility of artificial rock outcrops can be considered as a viable alternative. Aesthetically, they are still preferable to rock groynes and certainly more gentle in their influence.
