ROOM WITH A VIEW
( where it all begins )
Anticipation at the start of any trip is when I drop my kit on the floor of my first accommodation and look out the window (if there is one!) upon the adventure that awaits me. This is when the real excitement starts.

I have been lucky with most of my trips in that I expected images to 'jump out at me' and mainly they did. My only bad luck was in Paris where all my film ( 4000 images ) of Morocco was lost (stolen) at CDG Airport. Fortunately, I had been using a digital camera as a visual notebook and so I still have some 'second best' images to present from that trip.

Before journeying through my images at left, explore my
'Room With A View' (below). Click one of the pics below to see what I saw from that one room in Tangier.

Then, from the menu at left, please browse a selection of images that I have presented under a variety locations and other groupings.

 Sparse Accommodation

Tangier was my introduction to Morocco, against the advice of many.
For me, it was a perfect start to an otherwise tough journey. 'Tanja' as the locals call it, welcomed me very well despite the sparce quarters.
